HY-Swap is back the weekend of September 26-28, 2025!
This will be a one-day pop-up style event, and we will NOT have an extended donation drop-off period beforehand. The swap and all related activities will be held at the Hyattsville Municipal Building (4310 Gallatin St Hyattsville MD 20781).
Friday, September 26th: Pre-sorted donations drop-off at the Hyattsville Municipal Building from 3pm to 7pm. Please do not drop off large items on Friday (ie stroller, highchairs, car seats, bouncers etc). We do not accept furniture such as cribs, mattresses, nursing/rocking chairs, etc. Volunteers needed from 3pm-8pm for set up and sorting.
Saturday, September 27th: Pre-sorted donations drop-off at the Hyattsville Municipal Building from 9am to 2pm. Volunteers needed from 8:30am - 6:30pm for sorting.
Sunday, September 28th: Hy-Swap day! The swap will be held in two shopping session, one from 12-1pm and the second from 2:30-3:30pm. You are welcome to come back at 3:15pm to grab any remaining items. Please sign up for the your shopping session here to limit crowding. Note, strollers are not allowed in the swap due to limited space and fire codes, so we encourage you to leave it at home if you can. This event reaches many families and children, so please consider wearing a mask. Volunteers needed from 8:30am-7pm for set up, staffing the swap, refreshing between swaps, breakdown/clean up, and returning the boxes to storage. We especially need help at the end of the day, Thank you!!

Viernes, 26 de septiembre: Entrega de donaciones preclasificadas en el Edificio Municipal de Hyattsville de 15:00 a 19:00 h. Por favor, no entregue artículos grandes el viernes (por ejemplo, cochecitos, tronas, asientos de coche, mecedoras, etc.). No aceptamos muebles como cunas, colchones, mecedoras, etc. Se necesitan voluntarios de 15:00 a 20:00 h para el montaje y la clasificación.
Sábado, 27 de septiembre: Entrega de donaciones preclasificadas en el Edificio Municipal de Hyattsville de 9:00 a 14:00 h. Se necesitan voluntarios de 8:30 a 18:30 h para la clasificación.
Domingo, 28de septiembre: ¡Día de Hy-Swap! El intercambio se realizará en dos sesiones de compra: una de 12:00 a 13:00 y la segunda de 14:30 a 15:30. Les invitamos a regresar a las 15:15 para recoger los artículos restantes. Por favor, inscríbanse aquí para su sesión de compra para limitar las aglomeraciones. Tengan en cuenta que no se permiten cochecitos de bebé en el intercambio debido al espacio limitado y a las normas contra incendios, por lo que les recomendamos dejarlos en casa si pueden. Este evento llega a muchas familias y niños, así que por favor consideren usar mascarilla. Se necesitan voluntarios de 8:30 a 19:00 para la instalación, el personal del intercambio, el refrigerio entre intercambios, el desmontaje/limpieza y la devolución de las cajas al almacén. Necesitamos ayuda especialmente al final del día. ¡Gracias!
